At rahd·AI, we specialize in utilizing advanced AI to streamline decommissioning and reduce costs. Our platform uses cutting-edge AI to transform complex documents and fragmented datasets into actionable insights—helping operators improve efficiency, reduce risk, and meet strict regulatory requirements.
We’re building a suite of tools that align with the lifecycle of decommissioning:
- AI·discover – our proven engine for rapidly identifying and extracting key information from unstructured data sources
- AI·insights – currently being co-developed with industry partners to provide structured, real-time understanding of assets, obligations, and timelines
- AI·planning – in early design stages, this product will enable data-driven scenario analysis and decision-making through visualisation and automation
We’re at a pivotal stage of growth. With strong market traction and a small team today, this role is about far more than code—it’s about establishing our engineering capability. You’ll be expected to lead technically, bring structure and process to how we work, and help build a high-performing team around you. For the right candidate, this could evolve into a CTO-level position.
What You’ll Do
- Take technical ownership of key parts of the rahd·AI platform
- Lead by example in writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code across the stack
- Guide and mentor other engineers, helping to build a high-performance team
- Introduce structure and engineering best practices to support scaling the product and team
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and product team to align tech strategy with business priorities
- Identify and implement tools, frameworks, and workflows that improve team productivity and product quality
- Play an active role in hiring and onboarding new technical talent
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in full stack software development, ideally in high-growth environments
- Strong proficiency in our current stack: React, Next.js, Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL, and Azure
- Experience with AI/ML platforms or data-heavy applications is a plus
- A track record of leading small teams or projects, even if not formally a “tech lead”
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and excited to build processes from the ground up
- Deep interest in building purposeful, scalable software
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Bonus Points
- Exposure to the energy, mining, or infrastructure sectors
- Familiarity with MLOps or AI pipeline management
- Experience in startup or founder-led companies
